daLAfter having a contemporary log home built by Brady and Jon, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

There were a few hiccups along the way, due to us changing plans, but nothing was too much trouble for Brady and Jon.
They worked 12/14 hr days to get me in for Christmas; there's not many people these days that would do that.
I would be more than happy to speak to anyone who is worried about starting their own project and would also be happy if anyone wanted to see my home.
Many thanks to you both and wish you every success in your new venture xx

stourJohn and Brady were fantastic from start to finish.
They worked incredibly hard with a polite and professional manner.
Their workmanship was top quality and they really cared about every stage of the build and kept us informed at all times.
They could turn their hand to anything.

We would definitely use them again.

Great workmanship by Brady and Jon on our new 800 sq ft garden annex.
Both chaps were pleasant to have around and their expertise and attention to detail brought our vision to life in just a few short weeks.
We were talked through each process of the build and they even were flexible enough to change one or two small items at our request.
All in all a great experience and we will certainly be recommending them in the future.

birAfter my mother had died, we decided as a family that we needed to support my father a little as their home was now too big and too much for him to manage on his own. We started to explore putting our home on the market and find somewhere with an annexe.
As we looked around it became apparent very quickly that there were not many properties around us with annexes already attached within our budget. Those that we did find were offering us a lot less space than we already had. This was the same when we looked at properties where we might be able to build an annexe on the side. Our own home did not have enough space on the side of the house to build a traditional extension.
One evening whilst watching the television, I saw a programme about wooden buildings and I jokingly asked my husband if we had enough space in our garden to build one of these. I didn't really believe that it would be possible as we live in a standard 1930 semi-detached house with an average size garden. He didn't think it was such an obscure idea, so we began to research things in more detail.
We discovered that it was a very cost effective solution that would enable us stay in the home that we loved . We found our supplier and applied for the relevant planning permission and building control from the local council. This was a relative simple process and in time we were ready to order and build the annexe.
The build process was straight forward and we were surprised at how quickly it went up. The guys were very accommodating and we couldn't fault their work or customer service in any way throughout . They were able to answer any questions we had, they worked hard and were very professional and quickly resolved any issues that arose during the build process.
It has now been a few months since my father moved in and I can say without any hesitation that it was the best decision we could have made. My father is very happy and settled and although he is currently completely independent, caring for him should he need it in time won't be an issue. We still have a nice sized garden and the wooden annexe is pleasant to look at. It is very warm and cosy in the winter and is easy to keep warm. It also doesn't get too hot to cope with during the odd hot summer day.
I happily recommend the idea of building a wooden annexe to anyone who needs to consider either older relatives or young people who can't afford to get on the property ladder in the current market and would encourage you to use Jon and Brady at Timber Living as I know they won't let you down and you can be as happy as we are with a wooden home that keeps all the family happy!
